I do know what life was like under the CCCP. I have a number of friends from Eastern Europe. The very same Eastern Europe (Hungary and Romania) the West cheerfully handed over to the Soviets. How nice. My friends had the choice of immigrating to the US or Switzerland through a Church program. They are sorry they didn't choose Switzerland.
Back to the topic, I know I've said this before, Dubbya and Company built a nice turn key police state to hand over to the Demonrats. The State never gives up power once it has it. Can anybody cite an example of the FedGov doing such? I will never waste my time voting Republican again after their treatment of Ron Paul. The Trotskyite-neocon warmonger bankster puppets can have it. The best thing that could happen to us tax cattle would be the Union breaking up and the states going their separate ways.

Not interested in anarchy or anarchists.

The Republican party dissed Ron Paul because he is a crackpot. I like his domestic policies, but his foreign policy was ridiculous.

I've lived in Europe, travelled behind the "iron curtain", visited with folks behind the "iron curtain", and worked closely with those who formerly lived behind the "iron curtain"…as I said before, we are no where close.

Ron Paul because he is a crackpot

We will agree to disagree on this thought, I think our foreign policy is about as crack pot as it gets already.

You can't please everybody. Some people have a vested interest in the status quo. I would really appreciate that you let us know when it does reach the "iron curtain" point in this country. Some of us have a hard time knowing exactly when our US government freedom ration has dropped to the "iron curtain" level.

@ CCl4

You expect too much. Lap dogs had all the freedom they needed behind the Iron Curtain and Palestinian Christians and Muslims have all the freedom they need... to die. Do Americans need more freedom than that? We should only have the freedom that our Masters allow and we should die when the ObamaCare death panels tell us to die. Now, bark like a doggie and give a happy wag of your tail. Don't forget to vote. The Party knows best.

Let's see we own no property,"we rent it called property taxes, zoning laws, environmental laws unless your a too big to fail corporation". I disagree with just about all of his foreign policy stances that I've ever heard/read him attempt to communicate.

I guess my biggest hurdle with Ron Paul is just watching/listening to him. As I said earlier, I like the majority of his domestic policy stances (as long as I read them)…LOL. Maybe I'd like him better in the 19th Century.

Regarding anti-Israeli attitudes, psychologists are looking at anti-semitism as a psychological disorder. Here is a link and extract published in The Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, a publication of The American Psychological Association (aren't they anti-gunners?)

http://www.rci.rutgers.edu/%7Ejussim/Coh...erials.pdf

Quote:Understanding the ways in which anti-Semitism has gone underground and yet emerges in subtle and easily masked ways has been the second main objective of our model and three studies. In Study 1, explicit self-reported hostility toward Jews increased only when people believed they would be caught lying. The bogus pipeline technique, however, was not necessary to detect the increased perceived size of Israel or the selectively increased condemnation of human rights violations when committed by Israel following mortality salience. Although people can condemn Israeli actions without being anti-Semitic, our research has shown that hostility toward Israel may serve as cover for anti-Semitism and, at the same time, feed back and strengthen anti-Semitism (Study 1). Future research is clearly needed to determine whether the feedback loop tentatively identified in our work is a common pattern or whether causality generally goes in only one direction.

Maybe you can clarify something about your illogic.

If it is "anti-semitic" and "anti-Israeli" to criticize genocide, illegal spying, illegal organ harvesting, sniping children for sport, attempts to spread nuclear weapons to a racist government, terrorizing a nation that has not started a war in hundreds of years, sex slavery, instigating wars, etc., what then does it mean to be "semitic"? What then does it mean to be "Israeli"?

When you object to criticism of such evils, even attempt like a Bolshevik to psychopathologize critics of these evils, are you in favor of these evils?

While I have criticized specific behaviors and beliefs and made no generalizations at all, it is actually you who appears to take these evil acts as defining a people, a nation. In that same vein, it is very revealing too that you choose to ignore your own source: "Although people can condemn Israeli actions without being anti-Semitic,..."

Is it "anti-Chinese" to criticize Chinese infanticide? or the other numerous evils perpetrated by Red China?

Bottom line: You reveal a hypocritical double-standard. The rest of the world may not do, what Israel does.

au contraire…Since you are so fond of quotes:

Yep, I criticized:

1) those guilty of economic crimes against humanity—fractional reserve banking, fiat currency, derivatives-hypothecated-upon-derivatives, triple bail outs for the banksters while the people dispossessed of their jobs are on food stamps

Do you support economic crimes against humanity? the willful looting of the USA by those "too big to jail"? Are you happy at the misery and death the economic manipulations and outright looting have caused?

2) the Kabbalistic pillars of gevurah, chesed, and tiferet manipulations to defeat objective moral standards (the furthest back I have been able to trace the Problem-Reaction-Solution trick is 16th century Kabbala).

Do you support subjectivism, relativism, floating goal posts of "morality"?

3) genocidal Zionism.

Do you support genocide? Do you support dispossession of indigenous people and theft of ancestral Middle Eastern land by a bunch of (mostly) Europeans and North Americans?

4) dynastic banksters and financiers who at the same time ran capitalism and communism, looting for profit while over 60 million Christians were genocided.

Do you support Wall Street and European banksters who ginned up wars, genocidal revolutions, and the cold war for their profit and the misery and death of others?

5) the 1933 Declaration of War against Germany by World Jewry.

Do you think the people who start a war may not be named?

6) the Culture of Death, the Death Cabal

Do you support those who work towards the death of 6.5 BILLION?

Indeed, if the shoe fits... if a group is enormously disproportionately responsible for wars and the genocide of over 60 million people and the worst they suffer for it is "tribal," that's a very sweet deal, much sweeter a deal than received by the victims of their wars, revolutions, and other crimes against humanity. Yes, certainly, prosecute the guilty, repatriate all the ill-gotten gains, repudiate debt derived of criminality, and, of course, leave the innocent alone.

Do you want the guilty to go free?

Deal with the facts, not magic curse words that have lost their mojo.

Is it possible we might just have a pinned thread for NUKES to proselytize and whoever feels the need to argue with him while we keep the rest of these threads clear?

Just sayin'.

On a thread about the NSA, I provided links noting the NSA's accomplices. The thought police took exception to those inconvenient facts invoking the usual magic curse word.

An alternative: we could have a pinned thread for the thought police and only those who agree on the righteousness of every US and Israeli government action, the wickedness of all things Islamic, pre-approved political opinions, vetted historical interpretations, and official government-approved conspiracy theories. Nobody has to step outside of the Faux News echo chamber.

I wish you were wrong Montana but you are not. I will admit that i dont like all Ron Pauls statements on Military issues but he is spot on on the other 90% of his Political positions. I also think back on Mark Twains statement about his Father "It is amazing how stupid my Father was when I was a child and smart he became when I became a man." Well using that analogy one could surmise that I was wrong on my stance and Ron Paul may have been right.
