Stock options

Hi guys

I'm trying to find a stock build . . I was thinking about regular used stock from howa , but just wondering if there are better options outhere for the money . Purpose build is for out in the woods and desert and not looking for fancy or tactical build.

Brownells has HTI stocks for Howa mini actions. It's the same stock that's on complete Howa rifles. I bought a Howa 6.5 Grendel Mini awhile back. The action sat at an angle in the stock. Had to remove some material from the left side of the barrel channel & then glass bed it the get the action & barrel lined-up straight in the stock. I also replaced the plastic trigger guard with an aluminum unit.

Bell & Carlson has a stock with an aluminum bedding block for the mini action. It's a bit more expensive than the HTI but, IMHO, this would be your better option.

You can use the factory bottom or any of the aftermarket options that are available.
