Just bored and thinking about stuff, 16 ba barrel is currently at .076 and somewhat gassy with can, thinking about drilling/tapping gas block and doing the diy brt set screw and wondering how far some have gotten away with?
Mid length , full auto carrier, mostly 123s and Wolf for plinking, std carbine tube with H1 currently.
How small have you used and worked good? Dont really want to do it more then once (swap out the size of the port in gb)
And not swapping to a Adj. gas block..

Everything Ive read has used .076 or .078 for 16 mid length gas 6.5 Grendel.

Im interested in suppressed setups..
Shit thats bigger then my ba barrel is right now thats gassy with the can.

If I was concerned with gas port pressure, I would install an adjustable gas block. If not, you will have to experiment with port sizes with the ammunition you are planning to use for optimum cycling. Different ammunition will have different port pressures. Different bolt carriers can also effect cycling..
