If only it was november already.

Went to the range today and impressed myself at 200 yards. First time I'd shot it at that range. Used to shoot pop cans at 200 with my marlin 30-30 with iron sights as a kid. Never was much of a glass user until I built this 6.5g. Never even used a mil dot ret, or used glass period at 200yds before this either. So I studied up on reading and utilizing milradians and soon learned the magic of pairing a mil dot ret, target turrets, and a ballistics chart. Trying to find a place I can stretch to 500 now. Needless to say come November Mr white tail is going to meet Ms Grendel. I'm an avid bow hunter, but I'm actually more excited about rifle season this year after building the 6.5g.
