I don't doubt it. I know people who might say this or that about particular blanks, but I have no problem with Green Mountain barrels. I've used a couple of them (.6br, .308), and I've run into a guy that had a really nice .22br with one (short super heavy profile). His rifle shot just fine, as did all the few I have experience with. My father and I are currently putting a 12 twist stainless .308 Green Mountain on my Ruger 77 MK2. In fact, I prefer Green Mountain to Shilen. My father has a Krieger blank that's been sitting around, because he has yet felt the need to replace his Green Mountain.
