I talked to someone at Dave Manson's shop and they said 5 months.
I aggressively cleaned my barrel with JB's and seated 85 grain sierras to 2.130 and shot them till the throat moved forward and that seems to have worked.
The throat might be like a BR throat now.
123SST's are 10 thou off the lands seated at 2.245 which is factory length.
I get groups under 3/4 inch with AR Comp.
When I first got the barrel a 123 would stop at 2.230 now after a lot of work cleaning it the 123SST's stop at 2.255.
If I had to do it again I'd just send it in to Precision Firearms if I wanted to stick with the Grendel chamber or send it in to Saturn for a 264LBC type throat.
My barrel is very accurate shooting many 5 shot groups very close to half inch.
I would imagine either way the barrel will be accurate with a parallel or compound throat.
