I would amount directly to the receiver and use the appropriate rings and or mount to give you the appropriate height and or your preferred scope angle, a lot of it depends on what scope you are using, how much internal adjustment the scope has and how far you plan on shooting, if you are not shooting super long distance you don't really need any angle in your mount
QD is a neat feature but not usually needed and often a hinderance
If you don't need QD or angle in your mount I would look at the ar stoner ar mount its a simple and cheap design with no frills but there is not a hole lot to go wrong with it either, mine has yet to fail me
