The bullets may be manufactured with bore-riding noses like some very long cast bullets.

A slightly sub .256" diameter nose would not care about throat detials.

I don't have any Hornady 160 gr bullets to measure, and am waiting for Midway to ship my order of Naturalis, so I can't personally verify.
