Is 6.5 Grendel the New 300 Blackout?

The only thing is I don't see any bullets to go in the 200 gr area. They make short 7" barrels for Grendel that would be great for subsonic if you could fine 200 to 230 gr bullets and still pack way more powder and use the Grendel II chamber to give it more OAL.. http://saternmachining.com/barrels_on_hand

You either have a Grendel chamber or you don't. Period.

Also: The Grendel chamber handles the heaviest bullets currently manufactured just fine as is for subsonic use. Hornady makes a 160 grain soft pointed round-nose, but that's about it for 6.5 heavies that are actually available. Even the Hornady 160 is hard to get sometimes. If you can somehow convince someone to make substantially heavier ones, then let me know and I'll be happy to load them up and show you how they'll run just fine out of an actual Grendel chamber. Powder capacity and seating depth aren't the issue with subs in a Grendel. It's port pressure (getting enough of it while still staying subsonic).
