On our web site we offer the complete upper for $400 including the bolt which is a standard 223 bolt we do not offer it to the public any other way, as most people are aware the Grendel bolt is approx $80 which is approx $45-50 more than a 223 bolt. Liberty, Saturn, and a few others offer barrels with a head spaced bolt. Our offer is for Grendel forum members and we are not offering it to any other Forum members. With that in mind omitting the 223 bolt which will not be required if building a Grendel from the package and discounting the upper $50 seems reasonable to me. Now taking that into account should you need a Grendel bolt whether a right handed or a left handed bolt we can sell you one for $80.00 which brings the complete upper with a Grendel bolt to $430 and should you choose the ambidextrous version the total cost would be $480 for both the lefty and righty Grendel bolts. No other company will offer you a complete side charger upper with a Grendel bolt for $430 they may offer you a complete upper with a 223 bolt and sell you a Grendel bolt for another $80.00. As this is a Grendel forum and as most barrels come with a Grendel bolt why sell you or anybody else a 223 bolt which would be of very little use.
