The problem guys are having is the fact that when you made your offer you presented it as a discounted package not as a different "stripped down" package. When you present something as a discount or deal its universally received as receiving the same product at a lower cost, not as one that has less parts or features. I think this is where the confusion came from, people were asking for a group buy like other companies have given in exchange for a certain amount of purchasers in a given forum. This is usually given by companies to spark sales and to get their product out so people can review the quality of the product and so they can endorse it through word of mouth advertisement. Not as a way to say heres a stripped down version of our product, buy it like the rest of the world is allowed, that is called (for lack of a better term) stealing advertisement. Stealing advertisement is usually severely frowned on by administrators of forums and will usually get people banned. Try it on ar15.com or snipershide and see what I mean if you don't believe me.... your IP will get banned before you can put your next post up..... just trying to clarify the situation, mot disparaging your product, as you know I'm interested in it myself.
