Mine is a crosshills side charger. Sorry, can't help you out with the QA.
As for mine, it is beefy. Finish seems to be very good. Is square tot he extension. Bolt carrier seems very nice too. One issue i have is the bolt raceway is pretty rough. Machining marks all throughout. Like a series or circles. Not terrible or real prominent, but visible, and i believe making for a less than smooth feel.
