I don't question the reliability of the IWI Tavor Bolt, when used with the .223/5.56x45mm and .300 AAC Blackout cartridges. However, IWI has stated that it is too small for the 7.62x39mm, as reported here http://berettaforum.net/vb/showthread.ph...12&page=18 (Scroll down to Reply #180). Moreover, the corresponding layout of the lugs in the Tavor's Barrel Extension leaves a lot to be desired --- if cartridges with a larger case rim are being considered.
The 3-lug triangular Bolt shown with my Post, above, is from the Beretta RX4 / Benelli MR1 Tactical Rifle chambered for the .223/5.56x45mm. It is used as an example, only. I'd like to see a slightly beefier version, for the 6.5mm Grendel.
