Last Friday I was able to take 3 of my centerfire rifles to one of the clubs that I shoot at and was able to test my calculated zero at 200 yards as well as seeing how the rifles group. I have been handloading and shooting groups for nearly 50 years but have never shot groups at 200 yards, my long range shooting being limited to Varmint hunting. I was pleased with the results I saw from all 3 rifles but particularly pleased with my Krieger barreled AR-15.

The wind was from the left and variable around 5 mph.
The load was 27.7 grains of IMR 8208 XBR behind a 123 gr Lapua Scenar. CCI 450 primers were used in the Alexander Arms (Lapua) cases. This load produces 2411 fps out of the 22 inch barrel.
I now am getting a little more amped up for a 6.5 X 47 Lapua build I'm working on so I can play some more at longer ranges. 300 yards is next not to mention some further 200 yard shooting in better weather conditions.
