Why a 6.5 Grendel in a bolt action?

I'll take a swing at this and try and clear up some of GMinors confusion. My bolt action Grendels are great hunting rifles. For deer and hogs and smaller game. I dont hunt much at 1000 yards but then who does? I hunt where I can hit running hogs at 30-300 yards. My Grendels work better than my magnum rifles at those ranges and because they are bolt actions I can put a little heavyer bullet in them the in an AR or something like the 6.8. Then again I am taking a friend on her first deer hunt in 10 days. She stands 5'0''. She weighs maybe 90 lbs. She never shot before today. My 30 06 was too much gun (she could maybe learn in time but who has that anymore) My 6.5 mauser with its 26 inch barrel was too big and clumbsy for her. It would not be right for me to carry her hunting rife on her hunt. So we sighted in a 6 lb grendel with a 18 inch barrel in today. No muzzle blast to speak of; 40 min gun safety and target practice and she was shooting 1.5 groups. We will be good to go.
