Why a 6.5 Grendel in a bolt action?

There is the allure of the 6.5 Grendel bolt gun. We also have forum members who have shoulder injuries, or are amputees, and a light-recoiling rifle with high BC pills makes a lot of sense there too.

You also have forum members who cannot access AR15 type rifles - not that I would use one for hunting anyway. The Grendel in a 6lb bolt gun is a joy to use and is perfect for the scenario hm2 clark outlined. It is why my Grendel was built.
