I like using emotions and fear, which is what the anti-freedom groups prey upon. When I encounter someone who says they won't even touch a gun, I ask them how important their families are to them? Would they do anything for their kids, elderly parents, maybe even neighbors? "Of course!"
If you were in the house, and a convict high on meth broke in, or tried to carjack you with your babies still strapped in the car, would you shoot them to save your family, or let them beat, rape, and strangle them or take the car with your babies still inside?
If you were out walking in the park or on a local trail, and some irresponsible dog owner lets their 100lb fighting dog with a bad temperament off-leash, would you stand and let it savagely shred your child's arm off, or shoot it before it has a chance?
One could go on...
