She is a typical liberal. If anyone said to her what you did in your post, it would not register. Lights on, no one home. No sense in even talking with them. They will not be convinced, will not care to listen, etc. so even giving them the time of day is a waste of a person's life.
I also disagree with this type of protest by the gun owners. They are doing it to get into the faces of the anti gun crowd and companies that may consider banning guns in their establishments. I don't mind leftists getting pissed off at people who use their own tactics against them but carrying a weapon means a person believes there is a threat present and in this case, there isn't.
I have a Washington State Concealed Carry Permit. Have had one for the last 15 plus years. I have carried concealed but it is pretty rare. I may have the need to carry a pistol five or ten times a year. And, none of them were because I wanted to stop by a coffee shop for a cup of coffee. I don't give money to leftist companies and find it confusing as to why these gun owners would give a cent to Starbucks.
But, it is entertaining to watch on the news for a minute or two.
