Which Adjustable Gas Block :confused:

It's likely a lot of us will be picking up an adjustable gas block for our Lilja barrels so I thought it'd be a good idea to post this question.

PRI, Seekins Precision, or Syrac Ordnance Inc

What are your experiences with these?

Is the Syrac really worth twice that of the PRI and Seekins?

Is there another quality adjustable gas block I've over looked?

ricsmall was kind enough to give his experience with the PRI.

I use the JP Low Profile Clamp on in SS. I HATE the little set screw so I did some research and got some kernel thumb knob screws with the same thread pattern (6/32x3/4"). I got a couple different size knobs, 3/16' and 1/4", and have them on on my Grendel and my Wylde. Just the other day I was running 556 62gr so had to close it just a 1/4 turn then went back to 53gr 223 Superformance and just reach up and give it a 1/4 turn back. To close it and have it not cycle, just turn 3-1/4 turns in and no bolt movement.

do note the one on the Grey HG is my Grendel. I had to cut the screw shorter so it didn't stick out so far. The 3/4" length is better for a 2" HG and a 5/8" is better for a Troy or equivalent 1-3/4" diameter HG.

It works great and the purpose was to mark the different bullet weights and how much it needs adjusted to get good cycling with the least amount of recoil. The end of the knobs were marked by drilling a hole, just to make a dimple, at 6:00 position in the fully tightened position. In conjunction to the AGB, I use the JP Low Mass Bolt Carriers with there Silent Capture Recoil System. I didn't realize how quite it made the cycling till I had feeding issues caused by my trigger spring and put in the factory buffer and spring in till I fixed the issue. WOW it was a noisy and would have never noticed if i didn't have the to to compare out.

Anyhow, JP Adjustable Gas Blocks work great and especially with my thumb screws, hell with a allen wrench. I also called and sent pictures to JP so they might offer them in the future... Ben at Tech Support liked the idea too..
