I certainly don't like this intrusion on the 4A but we can still roll it back. Call your congressmen and DEMAND a repeal of this data mining program! And ask them if they were aware of it before it broke in the news...
The Stasi (secret police) in East Germany did not need technology to monitor people. They used informers. Everyone informed on everyone else.
Technology has its limits. And we now have a college educated population that does not want to do mindless work (ie watching cameras) but does not trust the uneducated. And no one trusts anyone else these days. We have created an educated class that does not trust the masses, does not like the masses. They would prefer very stupid people (ie Mexicans with a 3rd grade education) that they can control. Basically it is a system that can not be sustained and will cave in on itself.
