In our local papers editorial we have a small dedicated anti gun crowed who keep writing false, lying stat's to support their gun paranoia. No matter how many times people counter their false stats with real ones they keep repeating them as if it is fact. They never contradict the true stats they just keep repeating their same lies.This seems to work on certain soccer mom types and the un informed. It kind of supports the idea of " keep repeating a lie and it will become a truth".
