I agree with your sentiment. Nuremberg may not be the precedent we want to cite, however. Applying it to US citizens, no matter how poorly they serve our Nation, suggests that they can be tried by an outside power or collection of powers.

In that sense no it shouldn't be used. However, when it's all said and done those scumbags should and will be tried for treason for their attacks to the constitution.
