Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) introduced an amendment that would prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty in order to uphold the Second Amendment. His amendment passed on a 53-46 vote. 53-46… that means 46 Senators—almost half—preferred the United Nations pact to the principles set forth in the Bill of Rights.

Which of these define the radical left and which the sheep who blindly follow?
Further, those who voted opposite of their party leadership deserve our accolades - they showed some spine in the face of a party willing to punish those who don't kowtow to the ruling elite.
They also deserve our support too if that vote is consistent with their other actions.

Murray and Cantwell from Washington are both Feinstein wannabes. I've never met anyone from East of the Cascades who has voted for either one, but there are a few. I've had emails to both sent back with obviously pre-processed form letters that didn't even come close to answering the questions that I had asked.
They are beyond useless.

Applying it to US citizens, no matter how poorly they serve our Nation, suggests that they can be tried by an outside power or collection of powers.

In that sense no it shouldn't be used. However, when it's all said and done those scumbags should and will be tried for treason for their attacks to the constitution.

Remember that history, like the trials at Nuremberg, is written by the victors. That's why we must find ways to communicate to the larger majority in ways that can be understood.
Blind contributions to a particular party or organization may not be as effective as we'd like either. We need to make sure that contributions go to places that can make the kinds of differences we need to see.
Recent national politics showed me that fringe parties, like the Tea Party, can serve to better anchor larger parties than one might have otherwise expected. I am still not sure why that happened when the Libertarian party has been around longer and could not have the outsize influence the Tea Party folks seem to have wielded.

Indeed there were many problems with the Nuremberg trials. As you say, the victors have written the reviews. Let's do our best so that good people write the history of Nuremberg 2. Who has seen the video of the Kenyan deriding Bush for constructing legal cover for evil and in the same speech announcing the Kenyan's own efforts to construct legal cover for indefinite detention of Americans who have committed no crime, but who might be a threat to his regime?
