As an update we have alerted the Florida Sport Shooting Association legislative affairs officer who in turn alerted Marion Hammer, past president of the NRA, current executive CEO of United Sportsman of Florida, and the force behind Florida being the first in the nation for shall issue concealed weapons permits, and the first state to pass stand your ground laws. The consensus is that this legislation will go no where and if it should move forward, those passing the laws will be subject to mandatory personal fines.
I will continue to monitor and influence this issue to the fullest limitations of my station and laws governing my actions.
