I live in Hillsborough county (almost downtown Tampa), we already have a three business day waiting period for all guns, which is more strict than State requirements. I purchased an AR on a Friday, Monday was a Gov't Holiday, so I had to wait until the next Friday to pick it up. My wife has a concealed permit, so she doesn't have to wait.
I was awakened at 2:30am today by 15 rapid low caliber reports. I'm pretty sure that 6' male with dreadlocks running down my street minutes later, will adhere to new magazine laws. His first 10 shots maybe wouldn't have disrupted my sleep.
I think it's time to move out of Tampa Metro.
