It is now illegal in New York State to fail to report lost ammo.
Since it is now illegal to lose ammunition in the state of New York without reporting it I think it would be wise for the citizens of NY to organize a statewide "call to report lost ammunition day".
Tie up the police for a day, two, a week, month, however long it takes.
Heck, maybe we out of state residents could even call, tell them we were driving through and the trunk popped open, or a round fell out of your pocket, or your wife's purse tipped over and a few rounds rolled out.
So is there a website for NY gun owners? If one of you are from NY and can start up a movement you can force feed Cuomo his law! Perhaps on April Fools Day to point out the stupidity and silliness of this law.
