A "million mag march" in dc.?????

Nah, if the NRA, GOA, etc., could actually turn out a million members (a real million, not the fake numbers) DC wouldn't do squat but quake in their boots. With that many law abiding folks on the Mall, DC'd be praying to their marxist idols that things stayed peaceful and they didn't get ripped limb from limb. It'd be a peaceful (yet strong) message, and would be far preferable to the alternative if people actually showed up in sufficient numbers.

I'd find the prospect of driving to DC far preferable to losing my job and possibly my life if this crap goes completely overboard. Peace if at all possible, and civil disobedience is the appropriate tool. Huddling in our corners and howling at the moon will avail us nothing, and affords them the opportunity to ratchet away another increment of our constitutionl rights. Violent confrontation is also a losing proposition if it can be at all avoided as well.

This hasn't reached the level of Lexington and Concord yet, and I'd certainly be willing to use up some shoe leather to try fixing our republic peacefully.

Has everyone seen the posting of the 2nd Amendment Rally at the State Capitols Feb. 8th? There was a link to the facebook group in the posting. A peaceful demonstration at the state capitols may not be as effective as one million gun owners marching on washington, but I believe it can send a powerful message. While I'm more than willing to travel to DC for a march on washington, I believe the Feb. 8th rally will be our last chance to resolve this peacefully. I hope to God I'm wrong, but I fear I'm not.
