I have been getting sme great reloading info on this board, especially data using many of the new powders being used in this cartridge. I have been tring to find a good long range round for the AR-15 platform but nothing has really been suitable ,including the 6.8 SPC, for the type of hunting that I do here.
So far the .264 bullet with its higher B.C. and the Grendel case has proved to be Very accurate and at 2900 fps, chronographed, has been a Flat Shooter............Mike....

I'm surprised you would even consider the 6.8SPC for any sort of long range shooting. It is a good round in the same way that the old Win 30-30 is a good round. But nobody should confuse it with a long range round.
