Shop latrine is firmly reinstalled. All new fittings and two 6" rawl bolts should hold the little bugger. Finished just before midnight on Friday and then got the gun finished up.
Ran it Saturday and everything works well except the feed ramps. I forgot to check for sharp edges and of course it has those because I forgot. Annoying but hardly catastrophic. Wind precluded any proper accuracy tests but it seems to shine at least to 300. I will dovetail the testing in with the piston DMR's we built. Recoils is not as soft as the longer action systems but is very linear. I am also not yet fully convinced with these actions but they do seem to shine.
One thing we have found is that for the extremely accurate rifles the piston must be cleaned per the barrel to maintian accuracy. Heavy carbon build ups from days of firing if allowed to harden and not removed do seem to open groups.
