I de-edge, blend, and polish barrel extensions, unless they’ve been tumble-polished in the manufacturing process.

That seems to be more of a thing lately. I just got a 14.5” Grendel barrel from Rexus/SixFive Outfitters and it has been tumble-polished, all sharp edges removed.

The Lilja group buy barrels in 2014 used BAT extensions if I recall, and they were nicely polished as well.

I just don’t see dents on my cartridges.

I've never heard of that. I need to see if someone in my area can do that.
