My brass gets the dent preshot after loading but is pretty much fire formed out after the shot. Rounds loaded and then unloaded without firing show it. What was the mod you did on your mag?
I removed that ledge with a Dremel and the long pink sading stone then followed up with the 220 grit sanding wheels feeds better now by handcycling. Still haven't shot it again kinda busy. The top pics are what you can see what I removed from my mags.
