Took the Uintah 6.5 Grendel to the range today...

My favorite loads so far are 120gr ELD-M and the Barnes 120gr Match Burners

I've seen those, as well as the M/LE, both of those are copper as I recall...but

Barnes 100gr TTSX
H335 29.4 grains

I have a box of these coming in, so will reload 50 and see how they shoot.

I did like the ELD-M and ELD-X, both are XLNT, but between the time I bought them and now, only copper can be used. I just sold 2 boxes of 30 cal 178 grain ELD-X, those will take any game in NA.

That said, my 308 is heavy. I want light, short, with enough to take down pigs mainly. 6.5 Grendel seems a good solution for that in the mini-action, more so than 300 blackout.
