Nevada is pretty much, "go set some targets out" terrain.
I do have a cabin in commiefornia that I have shot 450 yards...It's on 12 acres in Nevada County...
I can hit a 16x16 steel plate 95% of the time...
The US Forest department doesn't want us to shoot steel in the summer...
I'm also trying to buy a 40 acre piece of land here in Nevada about 15 miles from my house...
