Barrel extension denting shoulder junction

Those are factory loaded Nosler varmageddons, This chamber is lot deeper throat than others I have had. They are probably scratches from that case being put in and pulled out several times. If I try and just take the edge off the center between the 2 bottom ramps that shouldn’t hurt anything if I only go a little bit

I'd look at the magazine/s first. Easier to replace magazines than the whole barrel. If you file the barrel extension ridge too shallow it may mean that rounds now don't feed neatly into the chamber - just saying.

I imagine those case dings get pushed back out when it gets fired. At least most of the way. Obviously not good for case life though so there's an imperative to fix this.
