The E-Lander mags have stout springs when new. I suggest you load your mags to capacity until your ready to go shoot. Some forum members have cycled the magazines spring multiple times with a wooden yard stick or wooden dowel rod to help wear in the spring.
I have only had one faulty E-Lander magazine. That mag was a twenty four round mag with rough welds on the spine which was putting drag on the follower. A couple passes with a flat file fixed that mag. All my other E-L mags have proven reliable, especially after theyve been used a few times.
