I can affirm there is a homicide problem in the areas of New Mexico as shown in the first map. Actually, as I write this, an active shooter situation in the 4-corners city of Farmington, NM has just ended. Three civilians are dead & 2 law enforcement officers were wounded. The suspect has been killed by LE. Here in Albuquerque, there have been three deaths over the weekend from gunfire. It's awful here. If the scum bag druggies were just killing themselves, I wouldn't care much - good riddance. But it seems too many innocent bystanders are being caught up in the carnage. We broke a homicide record last year & we are on pace to break it again this year. Yes, we do have a democrat mayor (never met a camera he didn't like). The city council has a democrat majority as well. Ya never know what kind of cock-a-may-me city ordinance they'll hatch in their pea-brains.

Oh well ... I'll just keep my .38 handy & hope I never have to use it.
