For Deer, Hogs, Antelope, Coyotes, Bobcat, Javelina, Wolves, Auodad, Blackbuck within 300yds out of a 20"-22" bolt action (1:8 twist)?
I've read the lead free projectile thread and watched the CarpeAnalySus and Hunt TXHogs youtube videos. Looks like the 85grainers expand like crazy and hold together the best, but that may be because they don't have that heavier shank pushing past the petals during the expansion process. Both the 95gr and the 110gr TREX's seem to shed petals pretty consistently.
Now that these have been in the field for a while... Anyone have a preference of one weight over the other for any reason? Currently the 95Gr are $.82 each and the 110gr are $.80 each, so any cost saving is minimal between the two.
