Sorry if I asked before but is your receiver face trued/square?
Ive had uppers that werent square that had noticeable windage offset. After squaring them, they were basically mechanically-true.
When I mount scopes, I might see 3 clicks of windage from optical true on square receiver faces.
What barrel length are these strings from?
