An option would be to get a upper from SWS Rifles. Itll have their integrally suppressed barrel thatll be 18-24 overall length, including 6 of baffle stack. So, just a one tax stamp gun without the SBR notification issues when traveling out of state.

We have five of their rifles at work and all have been superbly reliable and accurate.
