Visa Caves, Will Recategorize Gun Purchases as Democrats Requested (breitbart.com)
Interested in thoughts on this. Visa etc already categorizes lots of stuff... but this is caving directly to the Left and Dimms- on gun control. And the gubmint (NY et al) getting companies to do their censoring/banning.
I recall that B of A has in the past pressured some 2A vendors by refusing their business (something like this)...
I personally don't want to give any ground to anti-2A lefties. So don't like this development.
There are a few remedies however I can think of right off. One, use cash. 2) use debit card not credit card. Even though it says "visa" or whatever debit cards go through a different network.
3) Might be that our 2A vendors will start categorizing anything not FFL, to "sporting supplies" in their computers (along with mfr model # or something) and style themselves as sporting goods vendors, not "ammo" or "gun" vendors... after all most if not all of them sell more than strictly weapons... who's to say a barrel is NOT a steel sporting goods accessory or repair part?
