This is a good graph because it shows the velocity dropping in defiance of what we would expect. We expect more powder = more velocity, and that is the conventional premise. But, he loads 50.6gn and gets a lower velocity than lesser loads; how is that explained in light of the convention?
Even if we can't explain it, for this to be scientifically valid his results need to be repeatable. If he loads those amounts again and gets the same results then that is a good thing. If he gets a different curve then the test is invalid. 10 rounds is not enough to reveal your barrel's idiosyncrasies.
