Left handed shooter and safety

I have been in the Grendel game a couple years now and do reload my own ammo. Or course it’s a right handed gun I built. I am careful and do not load over max charges or velocity for fear of breaking something. I normally don’t wear safety glases either while load development or target shooting. If I broke an extractor or sheered off a bolt lug could it be dangerous to me because I’m on the right side of the gun ? I have seen numerous people on here break extractors and seen bolts crack. Just something that runs through my mind from time to time. Thanks
