I did the same thing with my Howa mini. Legacy Sports was supposed to edit their manual for the mini 1500 action to 35 in/lbs torque. I guess you got one that hasn't been changed.
Besides the two sites from biodsl's post, there is Oregunsmithing. Their bottom metal has a box type internal magazine with a latched floorplate. I have the DIP aluminum bottom metal on mine.
