Was just wondering if anyone makes bottom METAL for this rifle. When torqued to 50 in/lbs. I have cracked the bottom screw hole. It would be worth it to me. Didn't know if anyone has heard of anyone who does. If not, I'm sure someone will soon. Thanks in advance.

I did the same thing with my Howa mini. Legacy Sports was supposed to edit their manual for the mini 1500 action to 35 in/lbs torque. I guess you got one that hasn't been changed.
Besides the two sites from biodsl's post, there is Oregunsmithing. Their bottom metal has a box type internal magazine with a latched floorplate. I have the DIP aluminum bottom metal on mine.

I bought a DIP bottom and extended mag latch. Then learned about the Jefferson bottom. Since I have a CZ 527 in 7.62x39 and the mags for it and 6.5G are the same, I decide to go with the Jefferson option and buy more CZ mags.
I would be happy to move the DIP parts along if you are interested, save you some coin and cut my losses.

I just dont like the ugly boxy look of the DIP bottom. Otherwise I would snatch it up since the Jefferson bottom is out of stock for the time being. I may just end up getting one of the Oregon gunsmithing flat bottom plates for the meantime. Wish there was another option.

The cheap easy way to fix it is drill out the plastic and jb weld mini pillars into the bottom plastic. I ran mine like that for a year until i came across a jefferson bottom metal replacement.

Ive tried them all, and each one has its place but, Ive really come to like the Oregon Gunsmithing internal magazine. More streamlined externally, it allows you load out to somewhere around 2.435 COL, thats huge compared to the regular 2.300 Howa/CZ mags. And it makes single loading seem like thats what it was designed for. Just throw a round in and push the bolt closed and it never jams or snags on anything, just right down the pipe! Every time! Makes shooting the Grendel fun again!

That's correct. Mine says 50_55 inch pounds. I called Legacy, they sent me a new bottom piece. Now he told me. To torque to 40 in/lbs.
I'm going to go to 35, and hold. But also going to look into the metal bottom.
On another note. I replaced my trigger springs, from a outfit "Bloke", out of Australia.
It took almost a month, but they work great. I got the ones that go down to 1.5 lbs. I'm somewhat under 2 lbs, which is fine, but it makes a huge difference on paper.

I've used that Aussie Bloke guy's springs on a rifle too, worked out great just like yours.
For the plastic I've gone to the DIP style, now there are 2-3 others that are probably just as good. I can't speak to them since I haven't tried 'em.

Not sure how to send a PM on this site yet. Yeah, I may be interested in your bottom metal. It seems like it's a weak link to good accuracy. Also, I dis assemble alot, to clean, so I think repeated assembly will eventually crack it again, or the holes will spread.

Really happy with my Jefferson Outdoors CZ bottom metal, phenomenal fit and finish. The CZ mags were a little gritty at first with lots of sharp edges but a little sandpaper cleaned them up and they operate perfect.

Thinking about getting one of these Oregon bottom metals. How does it feed when loaded to 2.4+ with the internal mag fully loaded?

Great question s3s.
Feeding smoothly is one of the most important features for me.
My Howa mini feeds great with factory plastic, but would like to get away from the extended DM.
