Here's a post of mine from another thread.The subject comes up so much I should re-do this test in 10 degree increments. Shot from a 22" barrel.

Your velocity difference from 40 degrees to 80 degrees is 68 FPS. 68 FPS divided by 40 = 1.7 FPS, same as the chart I posted for CFE223.
