The Athlon scopes get good reviews and supposedly good customer service. I had never heard of Clearidge optics. I’d buy a Vortex before I’d buy a Clearidge. AA Optics sell refurbished Vortex optics which still retain full lifetime no questions asked warranty. AA Optics has a 2.5-10x44 Viper which is a second focal plane scope I’d buy before I’d buy the Clearidge. A comparable scope to the Athalon in Vortex line is the Diamondback Tactical FFP scopes. AA Optics has the Diamondback Tactical for $350 which you can compare prices to your Athalon.
