I have always checked my primers and brass heads when reloading but I never paid a lot of attention to the sides of the case. In another thread I mentioned Sierra downgraded their max loads for Power Pro Varmint by about 1.3 grains so I really started looking over my brass. I noticed Ive got two little notches on the side of my rims that match perfectly with my extractor. Is this normal for a Grendel. Doesnt happen on any of my 223/556 guns and it doesnt matter what load Im shooting.
