U P D A T E : Manufacturing continues to be jacked up. Email from bolt rep yesterday says, "Unfortunately, we do not have enough raw material to meet our open orders and won’t have more until the end of October."

Yeah, it's in a lot of industries right now. Some examples I've noticed recently:

• I just had to return my SWFA 10x scope due to an internal breakage. But SWFA has no stock to replace it with. And that's true of most of their SWFA-branded scopes. No word on when the next shipment will arrive.
  
• The Fox shocks I ordered back in June, for my IH IScout, are not expected to be built for many months yet. A rep at Fox told me they are still trying to build orders placed last March.
  
• Lastly, my cousin told me that Santa Cruz Mtn Bikes does not expect to have some of their "current" bikes in stock again until 2024.
