Mil spec requires Permatex No.3D Aviation Form-A-Gasket. Some armors prefer using Loctite 620. Be sure not to get any on the mounting screws and to apply a little oil to the fastener screws for proper torque of 58 inch pounds.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKyFt3xQC9E
