To many people go looking for problems before useing a product to find out if they have a problem in the first place.
Actually too many times its the same people over and over again hijacking threads because they simply cannot read. The question of the OP was, any idea what could have caused these scratches? Not whether anyone should or shouldnt shoot the rifle first, send it back first or even throw away and start over! No one asked for advice on what to do or how to proceed! Then those same people, spend the rest of the thread trying to justify what theyve made up in their head by trying answer questions nobody asked.
